What I Do
I help businesses and organizations build the systems, practices, and relationships that allow them to do their best work. Whether you're starting something new, navigating a period of growth, or reconsidering how your organization operates, I can help you identify what's working, what isn't, and what might work better.
My approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that thoughtful organizational systems should make work easier, not more complicated.
From establishing new systems to improving existing processes, I help organizations develop the infrastructure they need to operate effectively, respond to change, and grow. My experience spans business operations, financial management, organizational strategy, and building the systems that support growing teams.
Sometimes the challenges facing an organization aren't immediately apparent. I provide assessments, advice, and an outside perspective to help leadership and employees better understand what's happening and find a way forward.
I work with organizations to develop ideas, establish priorities, and translate ambitious plans into practical programs and projects.
I help organizations develop employee and management practices that balance organizational needs with the health, satisfaction, and contributions of the people doing the work.
From websites to organizational messaging, I help businesses communicate their work and connect with the communities and clients they serve.
Ways to Work Together
Not every challenge requires a long-term consulting engagement. Sometimes you need a conversation. Sometimes you need a thorough assessment. And sometimes you need someone to roll up their sleeves and help get the work done.
An outside perspective for the complicated business of running an organization. Individual consultations and ongoing advice for owners, executives, and managers navigating operational, organizational, and workplace challenges.
A closer look at how your organization works, with assessments, findings, and practical recommendations for improvement.
Project-based support to develop and implement the systems, processes, and programs your organization needs.
Flexible, embedded support through monthly retainers or individually structured engagements. The scope and duration can change as your organization's needs evolve.
My experience working at the intersection of art practice and environmental policy began early. As an undergraduate studying Art History, I was selected to film and edit a documentary on the historic Kissimmee River Restoration Project. In retrospect, this opportunity has come to symbolize much of what I have become as a professional.
I believe in applying an integrative approach to everything I do. Nothing exists in a vacuum. Context matters.
My career has taken me through contemporary art, environmental advocacy, sustainability, and organizational leadership. From supporting Los Angeles arts institutions to directing communications and operations for the U.S. Green Building Council, I've remained interested in how people, institutions, and systems intersect. That curiosity also led me to a graduate degree in Geography and Urban Analysis at California State University, Los Angeles, where I taught.
Over the past 15-plus years, I've owned and helped lead a sustainability consulting firm and held senior leadership positions across mission-driven organizations. My work has encompassed organizational strategy, business operations, financial management, human resources, communications, and organizational development, with a particular emphasis on building the infrastructure that allows organizations to grow, adapt, and thrive.
I believe the way we work matters as much as the work itself. Thoughtful organizational systems create clarity, accountability, trust, and the conditions for people to do their best work. I'm particularly drawn to helping organizations navigate complexity, connect their values to their practices, and translate ambitious ideas into meaningful action.
Ultimately, my work reflects a proclivity toward organization, a curiosity about how things fit together, and a desire to implement real change through thoughtful systems and communication strategies.
My work manifests where passion and expertise collide.
